What a day for us TomKat fans! This morning we were able to see Tom Cruise walk wife Katie Holmes to work and now this. A family picture that might just be the cutest picture of this lovely family I have ever seen!
Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise are walking around in New York City and the paparazzi were there to capture it all. Even the paparazzi are smiling. I am guessing they are thrilled to get a picture of the Cruise family all together.
Some sites are saying that they are walking to their New York City apartment. Does anyone know if they have moved into a permanent place yet? I thought they were still staying at the Carlyle Hotel. Who knows?

I’m happy that Tom has come, Katie looks happier and I bet in a few days little Suri will give the paps a smile and wave, I adore this family too.

wonder why we rarely see suri smile? just looked at JJ website and her necklace reads S for her name…how adorable. I am somewhat concerned, however, that Suri seems to have an oral fixation. Most pics over the past year show her with her finger oddly pointed to her mouth. She also is still on the bottle. This finger to mouth pattern is sometimes present in autistic children. I am worried that we rarely see her smile. Just some things I have noticed. This of course could be nothing but this behavior has presented itself over the past year now.
Tom does look hot here. Katie looks happy to be out and about with Tom and Suri. Honestly, this is the best Tom has looked in ages. Looks more like himself and not some overweight movie mogul.. LOL Good pictures. I am going to say tho that the papps were informed about this outing.
Suri seems to become fidgety and uncomfortable in front of the paps, the trampoline video, the video at the park, and the many many pictures of her at the other park outing, show to me a very normal little girl, and changes when she becomes awareof the paps. I have two sons myself, we’re a huge family , lots of little ones, and they are all so different, its amazing, Suri is Tom and Katies treasured little girl , you can see that in both of them, so when you combine what they both feel about her, she will always be the centre of their universe, perhaps a little bit babied, alittle bit indulged, a little bit over loved and protected forever.
Annie, do you realize what you’re saying? That it’s okay to love one child more than another. I’ve heard a lot of crap on this site, but this takes the cake.
Tyler, no no no , thats not what I meant and you know it, there’s a large age gap between Suri and her siblings, thats why I didn’t mention them, Suri is the baby, I say what I see between Tom and Katie, together as a couple with Suri , I don’t know how it was for Tom and NK, so don’t start.
I hope Suri’s finger to mouth behavior is not an example of stimming, but I have been wondering.
Suri’s oral fixation could be from the fact that she is uncomfortable around the cameras. She is young and probably doesn’t understand what this all means. To label her as possibly being autistic, without being a medical profession, is not the wisest thing to say. Each kid is different and autism is a large, serious label to put on a kid you don’t even know.
Annie, you might want to reread your original post. It’s pretty clear. You can take back what you said, but you can’t deny you said it.

umm no, you clearly stated that as fact, Annie. Normal? Nothing about her life is ‘normal’. Sad tho that the clicking and yelling by the papps upset her so much and yet Tommy and Katie are all smiles for the cameras. Didn’t see a car seat either, by the way.. And it isn’t as if the papps weren’t being given full access.
It’s good to be able to see Suri’s photos at least once a week now. I think we will see her more often in the future.

I have to agree with Annie. Suri often does look uncomfortable and unhappy in most of her photos. I think paps really bothers her. She has been photographed more often at night than other celebs’ babies. She is a smart girl she knows the paps at night who take her photos are as annoying as the paps at day time therefore she is bothered by their presence.
I never labeled Suri, what I did write was that sometimes this finger to mouth (odd body posturing) is sometimes (operative word here) present in autistic children. This could be a behavior of stimming……I never would label a child, whether I had contact with them or not. As I wrote, this behavior is just something that I have been observing over the past year. If you take a look at archived photos this body posturing is quite consistently present. Just an observation, thats all.
It looks like Tom and Katie are trying different things ,like Suri walking out of the hotel to the car instead of being held, and walking in the street, the paps bother her, but she’s not distressed ,Suri would cry if she was scared, but i think their presence bothers her, and of course its worse in the night ,because of the flashes , it might take some time but I think Suri will get used to having them around, you can see that she’s a totally different child when she’s not aware of them. My older son was clingy when he was little ,so school was really difficult to begin with, every morningat 5mins to 9 , he threw up,every morning for weeks, i tried everything ,talking, bribing , coaxing, everything, the teacher told me to persevere with him , and after a while he got used to it, maybe if she gets used to having them around during the day, maybe after a while she’ll get used to the night ones.
I am horrified that Tom and Katie are not shielding little Suri from the photographers. Why is it so important to them to be phototgraphed so much? Is it because of Katie’s play that she needs the publicity as seen as mom of Suri and wife of Tom Cruise?
Which other celebrity couple seeks the publicity WITH their small children? Yes, I know Denise Richards is also shameless in using her children for publicity, but I mean celebrities on par with Tom and Katie’s celebrity status?
Parents should protect their children. Poor Suri will no doubt need a lot of special attention from their church when she is older.
Should Tom and Katie not take their children out to dinner, to play or on outings?
Should they keep Suri constantly at home so no photographs will be taken?
They’re not inviting the paps into their home…….They’re outdoors.
The paps are as someone said here part and parcel of celebrity life these days and as annoying as they can be there seems to be no getting away from them when Tom and Katie are out and about.

When the Jolie-Pitts were in NYC they were hounded mercilessly. The school that their son Maddox attended was over-run by the paps daily.
Gwenyth Paltrow is a native New Yorker and even she is hounded, one notable time was when she was with her last baby, she had released pictures and they still surrounded her outside her brownstone.
The paps know no boundaries but that does not mean that celebrity parents should not enjoy time with their children outdoors.
Weird that the paps follow them EVERYWHERE, yet we have not seen any of them leave or arrive LA or NYC. And they do it every week.
Lets face it, Suri is going to be in the public eye the whole of her life. As someone who has been in the public eye for almost 30 years, Tom knows the dangers of shielding her from the inevitable. I have also noticed they are trying to get her used to it not hide her from it. One of the reason Tom has succeeded where the paparazzi are concerned is the way he handles them. Give them a good picture and then go about your way. Suri seems to be handling the paps better in the latest set of pictures already. When she was younger, she was oblvious to them, now she is very aware of them. The last thing you want is to shield her from it when she feels like this about it. It is going to be her life so she can as well get used to it. In the next few months, she will get used to them.

If seeing pictures of Suri bothers all of you and you think its to much for a two year stop…feeding the paparazzi appetite….also try in being a celeb, the paparazzi are not invited for PR stunt…..the paparazzi are PAID BIG BUCKS and that is how…any Joe Blow makes a living….if, YOU STOP BUYING THIS CRAP…THEN THEY HAVE NOTHING TO FEED ON….
well… i am a mother of an autistic daughter and i have been wondering the same thing about suri…. she is such a beautiful little girl but i do see some traits in her via pics that do seem autistic…clearly i’d have to meet her in person to know for sure. I hope not but I do understand how one could wonder….

Jenna, why don’t you just leave Suri alone! I’ve just visited every thread where you’re actually saying the same thing over and over again, “she doesn’t smile”, you’re actually saying that even on the threads where there is a pic of Suri smiling. Why does it matter to you if she smile or not? You keep saying she doesnt like the paps but then you’re also saying “why isn’t she smiling”??
She looks like a health child and it plain to see how much her parents dote on her!
