Emma Watson has confirmed, FINALLY, that yes, she will be going to Brown University. Here’s what she had to say:
Paste: You are off to University in the autumn.
Watson: I am—to Brown, which is an Ivy League establishment in the U.S.A. I’ve got a place there to read literature.
Paste: Was that a deliberate career choice?
Watson: Oh yes, very definitely. I hope to do quite well with my A Levels [she’s being modest—she achieved straight A’s in her chosen subjects, English literature, geography and art, as well as seven A’s and three A* at GCSE level] and they’ve provisionally accepted me, so I’m off to study.
I’m not real familiar with British syntax; when she says she’s going to “read literature”, she means study it, right? Not just read it?

When she says read literature she means it,she’s going after literature to read and study it.I’m from England and i’m reading literature but she is more likely to be Reading it
AAAAAAGGHH!!!!!

I was hoping she’d go somewhere on the west coast
At least it’s Ivy League!
