"It's Not Over" by Daughtry

Chris now has his band together and has released his first single entitled “It’s Not Over”. You can hear it now by going to his MySpace page here. Chris has dropped his first name and gone with just “Daughtry” for his group’s name. Does that mean that he’s just the lead singer for a group put together for him, or are they just a back-up band to deliver the solo artist he is?

I really like the sound of this song. It’s by far not the same sound we’ve heard from Idol contestants in the past. Probably the closest would be Bo Bice, but has anyone heard anything about him lately? The words are great and the music really catches your ear and keeps you humming the song long after it’s finished and really is over.

If you’d like to hear the song live, Chris has the following TV appearances scheduled, I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up singing “It’s Not Over” on every appearance.
