What do you think of “color therapy”? It’s when people think certain colors are more apt to make you smarter, make you hungrier, etc. According to InfoPlease, black is supposed to mean power, red is an “emotionally intense” color, purple is the color of royalty… and on and on.
When it comes to decorating a baby’s room, I know a lot of people that like to put in colors that stimulate the baby’s interest. Some pick more muted tones so the room is more soothing, some choose vibrant colors, and some a mix of the two.
Jennifer Lopez turned to the importance of color when it came to decorating the kids rooms. And let’s face it – she loves color and fashion so is this any kind of surprise? She reportedly talked to a “color therapist” to find out which colors would give her babes the best possible time in the room. (I never realized you could make a living as a “color therapist” but apparently you can.)
Fametastic says, “She had the nursery painted a beautiful aquamarine and light blue – colours which are supposed to have intelligence boosting properties.”
I’m not sure if the babies are in the same room (and I’d guess that each little pumpkin has his and her own) but I’d say aquamarine and light blue would be perfect for the new babes to sleep in. Besides that, with all the attention they’re getting, you just know they won’t have time to examine their new digs. They’re probably being passed from grandparent to aunt to mommy and back again.
