Jamie Lynn Spears pregnant again? Give me a break!

Wow. The National Enquirer is reporting (and I use the term really loosely) that Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant again, four months after giving birth to Maddie. Their unnamed sources claim that it happened because Jamie Lynn thought you couldn’t get pregnant while breastfeeding.

What? Yeah RIGHT.

I mean, yes, technically speaking it’s definitely possible for her to be pregnant again. It wouldn’t be the first time in history that a mother of a young baby has been shocked by a positive pregnancy test. However, this is the Enquirer. It’s not exactly hard-hitting reporting ethics.

I think what’s happening is they know Britney Spears had two babies very close together and they figure it makes for good entertainment to have her little sister do the same. It sells their tabloids.

I also think it’s just typical Hollywood. Any time a female celebrity has anything other than a perfectly flat, tight stomach, everyone yells, “oh my god, PREGNANT!”
