It looks like Brooke Smith wasn’t the only actress departing from Grey’s Anatomy recently, and I admit that hearing that Janina Gavankar had decided to exit Seattle Grace came as quite the shock to me. Mostly because I didn’t even notice she was there in the first place! I knew she’d been cast as an intern and I was waiting for her to appear, but I somehow missed her completely.
I suppose I shouldn’t be too surprised, then, since that’s basically the reason that Gavankar had for moving on out. Indeed, the actress found that her role in the medical drama was far smaller than she’d expected. I’d say. I’m going to have to go back and watch all the episodes again to find her. Sort of like a game of Where’s Waldo?
I’m slightly disappointed that I didn’t even notice her character because I had actually been looking forward to her role. I guess there wasn’t much to get excited about though. Heh.
Am I the only blind one that totally missed her?

What she was in Grey’s??? How come I never saw her???
I was looking for her too, and totally missed her. In my opinion,the articles played it up that she would have a much bigger role. Disappointing.

I noticed her totally in I think the second or the one. But it was when George was Finally a resident and she was one the interns that laughd at him.
