Earlier this year it was announced that Jared Padalecki landed a major movie role for "The Christmas Cottage".
Jared will work alongside Peter O’Toole and Aaron Ashmore in a movie based on the life of Thomas Kinkade, one of America’s most famous living artists. His work expressed "life-affirming values" – the Christmas Cottage painting used as the basis of this film is shown below. Jared plays Thomas Kinkade.
A look at the inspiration behind Thomas Kinkade’s painting The Christmas Cottage, and how the artist was motivated to begin his career after discovering his mother was in danger of losing their family home.
The movie is directed by Michael Campus and is currently being filmed here in Vancouver and in Whistler. The movie has a holiday release.
Even better, though – this is a 3 picture deal. That means that Jared Padalecki has signed on for two additional films based on other Thomas Kinkade paintings.

It’s funny….I started watching the first seasons of GG and he was really good in them. Kind of dark, but sweet. I think they dummied him up later on so he wasn’t as sexy (leaving room for Milo).
Amazing how he and Milo are doing so well and the GG are, shall we say, not as much?

Even if this movie is gay i dont care! as long as i get to see Jared Padalecki allthe time! me and shelley are 12 form MElbourne Australia and every day we crave Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki because they are so damn sexy!! me and shellz will go see that movie no matter what. PS. our fave show is Supernatural and that is probalbly why we love him and Jensen SO MUCH!
