There have been reports lately, due to comments made by producer Choke No Joke, that the reason why Jay-Z and Damon Dash had a falling out was 
because they both shared interest in the greatly missed R&B singer Aaliyah.
Choke told Hip Hop Weekly, "Both Jay and Dame was involved with a certain R&B singer, who I’m not gonna say her name out of respect ’cause she ain’t around to defend herself, but I believe that was a part of the initial friction. I was seeing Jay with her back around 2000, then Dame was with her after. All you have to do is look at the movie they did, Death of a Dynasty. In the movie they were fighting over a model. In real life she was a model, but singing is what she was known for first."
Wow, well that is something to think about. I wonder how Bey feels about these rumors. Is Choke No Joke really talking about Aaliyah? And if he is, do you think these rumors are true?

I think there is a good chance that these rumors are true, i mean Bee said that she began dating Jay when she was 19 it means in 2001, so maybe in 2000 Jay was dating Aaliyah, I saw a pic of theme togheter & they were looking pretty close I mean she was puting her arms around him & he didn’t seam to mind it! they are both from BK so that rumor sounds true to me!
If thats the case why didn’t they stop being friends n 2001 nstead of waitng til 2006 or 07 5 yearz after she died hun?
As an Aaliyah fan, this is what I think,
Aaliyah was always private and mysterious about her love life (even with Damon! We didn’t know about Damon till AFTER her death! Damon wanted to MARRY her by this time before she died). I don’t think the mention of Damon and Aaliyah being together came out untill around her last album back in July 2001 when their were shots of the two together at “The Others” premiere and “Planet of the apes”. She never looked so happy!
We talked about this on our Aaliyah forums and someone made mention that Aaliyah was interviewed in the past about the rumor and denied the relationship ever existed. Stating they were just close friends. Even if certain things were true, she always felt it was no one’s business and didn’t want it to interfere with her career (ex: her and Rkelly). She liked keeping her private life and career seperate.
If they did date, then apparently they seperated for good reasons and it was really no ones biz actually.
I’m sure Beyonce’ is aware of the rumor. Her and Jay are VERY very close and they both look VERY happy. I’m sure they talk about everything. Beyonce’ and Aaliyah were also friends.
It’s funny how a little accusation turns into big finger pointing. I have read articles of people calling Aaliyah a maneater. For what? No one knows if this is true and if it was, Aaliyah handled it like any other female would. Not only that atleast Aaliyah had class enough to make it private instead of going public like most celebs.
More interesting are the rumors Aliyaah was the sacrifice made by Damon Dash so he could obtain wealth and power. If that is true she was a ritual sacrifice. I am sad to see Beyonce changing from a nice person into somebody who wears Baphomet on her latest photographs? What does this mean?
If you think the rumors of satanic allegiances and sacrifices are unfair and slanderous then why the embracing of occult allusions? Make no doubt about it – you are invoking negative energies with your occultist videos and attire. Why? All this does is fuel rumors that you and Jay Z and others indeed sold your souls to the real powers behind the music industry. It aint worth it Beyonce. Never.
I’ve heard that rumor, I also heard the ” illuminati ” had her killed, so beyonce could be the black “it” girl. It’s hard for me to believe, that a person could have someone murdered for fame and fortune. R.I.P Aaliyah
I knew something wasn’t right about Aaliyah’s. I felt that some kind of evil force caused her death. It’s hard to explain. All I know is that Aaliyahs death happen by someone who is a devil worshipper. I remeber her brother, Rashad, warned her not to get on the plane because he had a bad feeling and Aaliyah didn’t listen…she was in a hurry to leave. This beatiful,talented,gifted and gracious young lady died at 22. Aaliyah was going to be HUGE. If Aaliyah was still alive, I promise you that Beyonce would not be as big as she is now. Aaliyah was going to be the IT girl. But someone who made mends with the devil for fame and riches was able to put Aaliyah out. They new she was going to be a threat…the biggest star in the world…and loved by many. Someone new that Aaliyah was eventuality going to come out and talk about the illuminati that is going in the music industry. And many many people were going to believe her.
I swear ya’ll her death didn’t happen because called her home…her death happen by an illuminati who wanted her dead. And I don’t understand why God couldn’t protected her.

Yes, that is true…you are not the only one. Think about it. Beyonce is the it girl now. But if Aaliyah was still alive do yoy think Beyonce will be as big as she is now?

I agree with you, beyonce would not as big a star as she is now. Aaliyah was a big threat for beyonce’s solo career. I just don’t think her death was an accident. There is a lot of evil in the music industry, you have to be careful what you listen to. Even if evil in the music industry does mean beyonce is homicide 2 Aaliyah or if Aaliyah is a live 2day does mean beyonce will not be on top. ‘U just dn’t think her death was an accident’. Ok since is not accident who killed Aaliyah. I’m wait 4 ur reply?

I never said beyonce had Aaliyah killed. If you read motoko’s comment you would know. Yeah I believed she was really murdered, but that is what I think, you are entitled to believe what you want, and so am I.

Many ppl do not know the illumuniti is real. aaliyah made a sacrifice also in Queen of the damned. she came in as the queen, no one was better than her, but han she takes this man in so she can reign. and him and the other pple betray her, they suck the blood out her take take her good blood. all of them need the blood for a purpose even the women and she dies. but in actually this circl in the movie is of these real ppl. damon dash is the man she takes as her boyfriend to rule. and in the end a women puts stop, mother of horus. also than the girl jay gets, beyonce jay and others, they killed her off so Beyonce could be the queen. and beyonce knows it. you think you know these entetainers but you dont shes is obsessed with sucess and will do anything for her career. Aaliyah did not want to make Queen of the Damned. they talked her into it.
