The big buzz lately is the very unfortunate drama going on between Chris Brown and Rihanna. According to police, Chris Brown allegedly assaulted 
Rihanna giving her two contusions on both sides of her face, a split lip, bloody nose, bite marks and bruises on her arms. Obviously, Jay-Z who is very protective of Rihanna supposedly lost it when he found out that she’d been assaulted.
A source tells Us Weekly, "He hit the roof. Chris is a walking dead man. He messed with the wrong crew."
In the past, Rihanna told People magazine just how protective Jay is. "I just found out from a mutual friend that guys will talk to Jay first before they try to approach me. He’s very protective. Jay has my best interests in mind.
She says, "If it’s a good guy, I know Jay won’t shut him down. But if he’s not, Jay will be, like, ‘No, no, no.’ "
Chris Brown turned himself in to the police and was released on a $50,000 bail. Kanye West has already expressed his devastation at what’s happened and T.I. has given his opinion as well.

Then, we learned that he had choked Rihanna until she was unconscious and her eye was so swollen that she couldn’t even open it to take photos for evidence. The reason for their argument was a text message Chris got from a woman who wanted to hook up with him. Rihanna confronted him and obviously he reacted badly.
This whole situation is just so devastating. I feel so bad for Rihanna right now and I send her all my positive thoughts. I know Jay has got to be furious. Chris Brown should have known better than to mess with the biggest names in the biz.

Wow. I was wondering how Jay would react to this? Rihanna is like a little sister to Jay. He’s her mentor so I can definitely understand his reactions along with everyone elses. It is NOT right for a man to put his hands on a female…PERIOD. No, it isn’t right for a woman to either, but men r so much more stronger than woman and its nowhere near a fair fight. A woman beater is a punk.
ok, I just wanna say that I feel sorry for rihanna but I don’t think Jay really said those things, the media always try to make it look like rihanna & Jay are friends or something like that, but that isn’t true! he was her boss, he signed her to his label like many other artists, I don’t think he has nothing to do with her anymore! she worked for him now she doesn’t so pleaz keep Jay out of this mess!

If Jay Z is so against violence against women. Why is he himself on video angrily shoving a young female in the face. he just cares about
Rihanna, because that is his cash cow. Some of his best friends are abusers ie Larry Johnson.
