Did Jay-Z leave his post as the CEO of Def Jam so that he could create his own record label? That’s the rumor that’s going around (I read it on Hip Hop Roll)! It’s also being said that the erstwhile Sean Carter would name the label after himself and call it the “Carter Music Group.” Hmmm… Doesn’t really sound very catchy, does it?
I wonder what Beyoncé this about all of this (if it’s true)…
