Jaydee Bixby was on Canadian Idol where he performed his first hit “Old Fashioned Girl.” He did a great job and he briefly told host, Ben Mulroney, how gratifying it was to create his first album. He told me that also when I met him earlier this month (read the interview here). I’m so happy for him!

Im actually from Fort Worth Texas, and am very picky about what kind of country music i listen too. Not about the mainstream stuff at all, but I find that alot of stuff that comes out of Alberta reminds me of good ole Texas music, I really like Jaydee alot!
I love Jaydee’s new CD Cowboys and Cadilacs – I think he is great. He is such a wonderful singer I am looking forward to hearing what else he does and I sincerely hope there is lots of it.
Whoa… I’m all shook up from that performance! What an amazing band he’s got now, I can’t wait to hear what those boys do next. TCB BABY! -E
I really like Jaydee. He handles himself really well for a guy so young. I thought he looked sunburned too.
