Jennette McCurdy updated her official blog to thank the fans and talk about her plans after the second season of iCarly wraps!
Jennette writes, “I suppose I’ll start with yet another ‘thank you’! I’ve reached 100,000 twitter followers, 100,000 youtube subscribers, and 1,000,000 views on my ‘Home Sweet Home’ video. I am truly thankful for your support and kindness. I don’t mean to smother you with thank you’s, but really…. I kinda do. I don’t know if there’s some rule to saying ‘thank you’ a certain amount of times, but if there is, I’m sure I’ve broken it. I just feel the need to let you know that I’m thinking about you and appreciating you!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Okay I’m done for now….
… except that I have to say thank you for voting in the Teen Choice Awards! I was a little bummed to discover that it was the producers who ultimately made the decision – and not the fans – but it was still an honor to be nominated! I mean it… seriously. And a big congrats to all those who took home a surfboard! It was really cool that the iCarly’s gave one to Ellen DeGeneres.”
“We’re getting ready to wrap our enormously long 2nd season of iCarly. We’ve been shooting this season for a year and a half straight, trying to bring you guys lots of laughs, and this is our first real hiatus… but don’t worry, we have plenty of new episodes coming, and we’ll be back. 
I recently toured the Capitol Records building in LA, where the great John Mayer was recording! I got to touch Nat King Cole’s piano! It was unreal! All of the pictures in the hall were beyond inspiring… to see the classics, the GREATS, it’s very emotional actually.
During my hiatus, I’m planning on making several trips to Nashville – the city of music and a city I LOVE! I’ll be writing, recording, photoshoot-ing, and all that -ing. haha. WOOHOO!!!!! I’m also going to be working on a movie – should be fun! Aaand I’ll be practicing my electric/acoustic guitar playing, dancing, ice skating, visiting friends I haven’t seen in a while, cooking for my brothers, etc. It’s gon’ be BIZZAY! haha.
I’m very excited to keep you updated frequently on my album progress. I plan on taking videos in Nashville, tweeting, blogging, etc.”
