It’s being reported that American Idol alum, Jennifer Hudson, will be starring in Tyler Perry’s upcoming movie The Family That Preys. She will join confirmed cast members, Sanaa Lathan, Kathy Bates, Alfre Woodard and Rockmond Dunbar. Shooting is set to begin on March 2, 2008.
According to Variety, the script "focuses on two families from different sides of the tracks that become intimately involved in love and business."
I am really happy to see Jennifer getting more and more work. Of course, I’m really hoping to hear some album news but it takes time to make a good one and she’s been very busy. I’d rather wait for something great than have some rushed, disorganized product thrown at me.
She will be making her next appearance in the Sex and the City movie which is set to drop on May 30, 2008.

I’m not a big fan of Jennifer’s, but this will be a great opportunity for her. I love Tyler Perry, he is a amazing writer/producer/actor, very, very talented man. This should be a really good film and I’m sure she will do well in it.
i like this article b/c other sites put the blame on jennifer for the album not being out in what they think is a timely fashion and say some crazy things but i feel the same way as you all about the album.

This is one great singer. I love Jennifer Hudson but I am very disappointed in Mr. Tyler Perry’s latest publicity stunt. He is reporting that he has a stalker. I don’t believe this because the man hates talking to the media. He is very private and would want this to be kept quiet. I think it is a publicity stunt to take the focus off of his latest movie Meet The Browns that was given bad reviews. This and the fact that his mysterious cousin has surfaced in Hollywood and is now producing a major motion picture film called Oblivious. The producers name is Marlon Campbell and it was reported that the two grew up together as best buddies. Tyler Perry is stating that because he has a stalker he has to have bodyguards. I think he should get his cousin Marlon Campbell to protect him like he did when they were kids playing on the playgrounds of New Orleans. I just don’t buy the stalker story at all. Why would he make this public knowledge this would only give this stalker he is claiming, more reason to come after him.

he’s a role model for a lot of people. But I’m baffled that all his movies is about marraige and
yet he has no wife, and has no intentions of
