This is cute – Jennifer Hudson is getting married this spring to her "maintenance engineer" fiancee. Is that a politically correct term for janitors these days? Maintenance engineer, my ass. Hmph.
She also says that her fiancee didn’t want to marry her until her career got off the ground. Uh, hello? When the janitor is saying that you’re not good enough for him until you win an Oscar or two, there’s something rotten in Denmark. Oh, dammit. Now no one is tupid, the reason Jennifer Hudson is getting married so soon after the Oscars is she wants to get married while she is hot. She is using her Celebrdom, to advance herself in this regards and she can send all the long time associates shes made in the industry invitations and she can get wedding presents. She sucked up and got the Oscar, as well as other awards as though she is the queen of Holloywood she walking around with her head up in the air about an Oscar for a movie in which she portrayed especially an African American Icon who was there for black americans in the music industry when white american gave us abd rap or did not give us an opportunity to record, she should be giving Mr.Berry Gordy, and Ms. Ross an apology. she will do anything to get ahead. the woman is phony, she is too perfect, and if Simon was so wrong then why did not Chicage keep her in the running with her votes. She has alovely voie which sounds just like Beyonce, smae old stuff nothing do. She should get her head out of her butt, by the way I am not buying her cd, nor willI pay to see any movie she is in, because I don’t buy the Hollywood hype about her highnesses greatness.

First, regarding the Chicago voting… I’m sick of people who did not watch AI that week commenting on why her hometown didn’t vote for her. It was mentioned everywhere. Why didn’t Chicago vote… simple answer, they couldn’t. That night, a major storm hit Chicago and knocked out the power and telephone service to the majority of the metro area. That’s why to this day many people still carry an AI grudge… many felt it was unfair for AI not to take the storm into consideration and extend the voting. Today, the grudge still continues (after the recent Jordin Sparks debacle)… AI decided to extend the voting just because a favorite frontrunner had a sucky performance and was last in the voting (does that sound fair)?
Regarding James, please “Google” Maintenance Engineer… it’s a far cry from a Janitor. Next, checkout Lifetime TV’s website… search “Spotlight 25″ then click on Jennifer (there are 5-6 segments almost an hour long interview). In it she speaks of marriage, and says that she was told that ‘marriage with no money is one of the biggest causes of a breakup.’ Jennifer said, that she wants to be in a comfortable place and wants the same for him before marriage. She states, that she doesn’t have to be rich (while looking up to God) and saying ‘but it’s okay, if she is!’ When you watch the complete interview… you realize that Jennifer is down to earth and grounded but a little naive regarding the industry. I believe that she’ll develop a thicker skin as the years go by, and I wish her nothing but the best.
Finally, regarding you not patronizing her products. I’m sure she’ll survive… anyway, you’re probably the type that only buys “bootleg” DVDs from the guy on the corner and illegally download CDs. Gee, is Paris Hilton looking for a cellmate.

First of all , with your smart self, I don’t bootleg, I am opposed to it, because I see it as stealing. i saw the interview. I have a brain and i have a spirit and that is my candle. i don’t have like jennifer Hudson and she does not have to like me. But I know when somethig is not right and their is dead cat on the line. if I sense something is not right, then i just sit back and wait. I live in Chicago at the time and I voted, I am a former resident of Chicago. It’s just that I have a problem with perfection in people, I’m not talking about character, but anyone cannot do any wrong and says and does things but it is never them. We are not to judge which is true, but you shall know them by their fruits. I start to make a comment about your mam in regards to the cellmate, everyone who has an opinion against someone you like does not have to be someone who has no integrity. i just know this, anythin gtoo good to be true, is not true. By the way when you catch up with hter and I am so wrong , tell her to wear a bra the next time she wears this dress. We don’t want her to be seen as a hypocrite. if paris is looking for a cellmate i won’t be me or anyone that that i associate with. Like I tell my children always follow you heart, that little voice on the inside in what it tells you in regards to people!!! I do also know this, most young people today including her could learn a lesson on humility. Her gift may have gotten her there, but like I tell my son who plays for NFL 9 years, but it’s your character and integrity that will keep you. I don’t apologize for anything I said. We’ll all understand it better by and by. I forgot she can afford to burn her bridges, she did say in her web page she is a legend in the making, move over world!!!!
I am happy they r getting married and he was with her since 1999. and that was before american idol anyway.
