Jennifer Hudson Sings Anthem at Super Bowl - Video

Jennifer Hudson seemed nervous but looked and sounded great as she sang the national anthem at Super Bowl XLIII tonight (yay Pittsburgh Steelers!!!). She hasn’t performed publicity since her mother, brother and nephew were brutally murdered late last year.  I was so happy to see her and I hope this was the first step towards her finding some normalcy in her life again.  It had to be really tough for her but she proved that she is a professional and kept her composure.  She’s amazing and is a true example of courage and strength.

Jennifer sang the song. I have never heard the National Anthem sung that way. Truely she is an amazing strong person and my prayer is that God will continue to strengthen her and bless her and her family.

    Forget the game.
After I heard Jennifer sing the National anthem,
I had to listen to it again and again!
I’ve never been that fond of the song, and usually
whoever sings it can’t handle the range of very low to very high. She was amazing – THE BEST I HAVE EVER HEARD it sung.Just when I thought she couldn’t go higher, she did,and ended the song
on high notes, rather than lower. It was simply chilling, and totally in key. Your Mother and Brother and Nephew are so proud of you,Jen.
