Jennifer Lopez was in Denver the last few nights for the Democratic National Convention, and while there she sponsored a gala to benefit children. CQ Politics reports that Jennifer held an “invitation only” event sponsored by the Jennifer Lopez Foundation to honor Marian Wright Edelman.
Ms. Edelman founded the Children’s Defense Fund, a wonderful charity that speaks up on behalf of children for who cannot vote for themselves. The event was held at the Denver Art Museum.
