Dog bites are no laughing manner. We have a dog in our neighborhood who constantly runs into the street barking and showing teeth. The owners are oblivious, thinking that the dog is small and “wouldn’t hurt anyone.” But the truth is, dog’s should be on a leash and never have an opportunity to bite someone.

Turns out one of Jennifer Lopez’s guard dogs bit a flight attendant, who is in turn now suing Jen. I’m always a little bit leery when it comes to people suing celebs, but a the same time, there’s no reason this dog should have bitten the flight attendant.

One source says Lisa Wilson, who is a flight attendant with NetJets, filed a lawsuit against J-Lo for $5 million. Apparently the bite happened two years ago on a flight. When the attendant walked past the dog, it bit her pant leg and caused her to fall. She says she injured her back and then had surgery last year. She says she can no longer work because of it.

I’m really torn on this one. I’m sure the dog bit was awful, but it did not bust the skin (it sounds like) and even though she fell I’m not sure she would have gone forward with the site if this wasn’t J-Lo’s dog. Still, it’s terrible that someone had to watch themselves around someone else’s dog. People need to be responsible and if J-Lo wasn’t, it’s disappointing.

What do you think?
