Jensen Panettiere and mom Lesley with their Guests at the Whaleman Benefit

What’s interesting and somewhat sad about the Whaleman Foundation Benefit that Hayden Panettiere hosted this weekend is the absence of her father Skip. Gone were the days when Hayden’s parents would together support their daughter’s functions. It was only last year, at the same party that Hayden hosted for Whaleman, that Hayden’s dad Skip ruined the night by punching his wife. How time flies and people move on.

This weekend, Lesley Vogel came to the benefit with her own guest, John Schubert. Jensen was there too, with Talia Prairie. Mom and son look happy with their guests, so maybe the tension has long been forgotten and they’ve moved on.
