This week in Jess and Ashlee news…
- Jessica Simpson’s adorable pooch, Daisy, was snatched by coyotes in front of her eyes. She went to Twitter to plea for help. Though her fans were supportive, a celebrity dog trainer said it is likely that Daisy was eaten. Even Martha Stewart chimed in with her 2 cents. She enlisted the help of pet finding company, FindToto.com, but she and the company allegedly gave up hope later in the week.
- In even more unfortunate news, there was speculation in the tabloids that Jessica was hooking up with John Mayer in wake of her recent break-up with Tony Romo.
- In other Jessica Simpson’s ex news, Nick Lachey discussed rumors of his and Jessica’s alleged reconciliation on Rachael Ray’s talk show.
- Her bff Ken Paves was unable to accept an award in person due to being in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, filming her new reality show, The Price of Beauty. However, in his video acceptance speech, he did donate wigs to children suffering from cancer.
- In happier Jessica news, her new Macy’s commercial premiered to positive reviews from viewers. She even takes a humorous digg at Tony Romo in it.
- In Ashlee news, the second episode of Melrose Place aired on Tuesday. We found out that Violet is (or at least thinks she is) Sydney’s daughter. The other residents of Melrose Place are now beginning to think she is a suspect.
- Perhaps her character is a bit nutty, but she looked especially faboo in a bikini, considering she just had Bronx not 10 months ago.
- Despite the anticipation for the second episode, ratings fell off 20% from the premiere episode, fueling speculation that it is already over. However, it did significantly better than the premiere episode of The Beautiful Life:TBL.
- This news doesn’t seem to be affecting the cast, who attended the PaleyFest Fall TV Preview Party last Monday, looking fabulous as usual.
- Fellow Melrose cast member Colin Egglesfield (Auggie) likes to talk. And talk.
- Outside of Melrose, Ash and Pete took Bronx to PETCO. Amidst rumors of marital strife, they held hands and looked adorable. However, the award for most adorable goes to Bronx, who was carrying a Woody from Toy Story doll. What a cutie!
