Word on the street is that Jessica Simpson’s Ken and Barbie themed birthday bash did not work out. Sounds to me like it would have been a lot of fun!
On July 10th, Jessica’s actual birthday, she tweeted to good friend Emmy Rossum,”can’t wait to see your costume on the 10th! birthday evite coming soon :) you are always the best dressed!!!”
However, just this past Saturday Jessica tweeted, “Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!”
We really admire the positive attitude, Jess. And in an image obsessed world, where women are so highly scrutinized, especially for their age, it’s great to see a woman who’s happy about aging and in control of her life!
Way to go, Jessica!
On a side note, did you know that there are almost 6000 different Barbies to choose from? I, personally, had no idea!
There’s Disco Barbie, Malibu Barbie and Shopping Barbie, just to name a few. Which Barbie do you think Jessica would have been? My money’s on Shopping Barbie.
