Today is a good news, terrible news sort of day. So now that we know the bad news, here goes some good news for those of you that think of this as good news: Jessica Capshaw has officially been made a series regular.
ABC has rolled out the welcome mat to our favorite peds surgeon. That should make our dear Callie very happy. I think she’s had enough heartache for a while, don’t you think?
Now this isn’t terribly shocking news, as her promotion’s been in the air for a while, but it’s now finally official, and that’s always something to celebrate. So hopefully that will cheer some of you up.
Congratulations to Jessica Capshaw. This certainly makes us Arizona fans very happy.

I love the fact that she is coming back! She adds something different to the show, and the fact that she is a gay character is also wonderful.
It shows diversity as it is the REAL WORLD… not like so many other shows that feature only white successful heterosexuals. ..barely as realistic.
I am not happy that she is staying. I was really hoping that she would be gone for season 6. There are just way too many new people on Grey’s. It’s no wonder that George had so few story lines this season. The writers had to include all of the story lines including the crazy interns and Callie turning gay and Izzie doing it with a ghost all the other new stories. I mean seriously! Plus, I don’t like the idea of Callie being gay. It’s not that she is gay, it’s that she wasn’t always. I loved her and Mark together. Grey’s peaked a couple of seasons ago and I’m not expecting much this next season.
I was hoping she was gone after this season. Her character is too perky and Grey’s adds in too many extra people. Plus I don’t like Callie being gay. It’s not that she is gay, it’s that she didn’t start off that way. Plus, they fired Brooke Smith because of her character being gay. Totally contradictory. Grey’s was so much better when it was just about the original five interns and their relationships. Now it has too many characters and story lines. I feel like the writers are just trying to fill up the hour.

I’m glad she stays ’cause she is the best character and the show will be colorful! Love her and can’t wait to see season 6!
