Jessica On The Cover of Glamour Magazine

Jessica Simpson is on the cover of the September issue of Glamour magazine and here are some of the highlights of her interview.

In the newest issue, on stands next month, Jessica dishes about her life, her body image, her divorce from Nick Lachey, her career  and of course, Tony Romo.  However, it’s worth noting that the interview was conducted before the pair broke in July, but Jessica is already eluding to life without Tony.

In it she says,

“If this article comes out and we’re not together, I’d still love him, and he’d still be a huge part of who I am today,”

Interesting considering the duo would break up shortly after this interview was given. She also talks about her relationship with marriage, and if she would ever like to marry again.  She told the magazine,

“It was hard to imagine I would ever walk down the aisle again. It was like a death in the family: You go through the mourning stage, then the rebellion, and then all of a sudden you have to find life by yourself. Once you do that, you feel complete—and that’s the only time you can truly fall in love again and give yourself over completely to another person.”

She doesn’t stop there.  She also talks about women and society’s ever growing fascinaiton with body image.

“It’s not fair that women look in the mirror and feel disgust because of what society has made them believe about beauty. I’ve been through it myself and understand the pressures. We’re all facing the same struggles together, whether you’re a celebrity or not.”

Jessica has a lot to say, and she’s doling out some great advice for all the young women out there.  You don’t have to look a certain way or be in a relationship to feel fulfilled.  Just live your life on your terms.  And she is definitely doing that!
