Last Friday, we posted that Jessica Simpson had allegedly found love again, this time with Smashing Pumpkins frontman and fellow believer Billy Corgan. However, what was once ‘alleged’ is now being confirmed by Simpson’s friends.

According to People Magazine, a source says the seemingly mismatched duo are taking things slow. The source also said:
“They are getting to know each other. He’s a nice guy.”
The two have been seen out and about together, most recently in NYC where Jess is supporting Ash’s run in Chicago on Broadway.
What do you think of Jess and Billy? I think it will work out, if not only because they are such an unexpected couple. People like Nick Lachey and Tony Romo are who people expect Jess to be with, but neither of those relationships worked out. Maybe it is true when they say opposites attract!
