The award for best team player definitely goes to Jessica Simpson.
Though she and Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo have been broken up for four months, she still finds it in her heart to cheer him and his team on.

About 13 hours ago, Jess Tweeted about Sunday’s game between the Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles (20-16) :
“Can’t forget the Cowboys!Great game yesterday.My pink jersey was nowhere insight;) I was screaming at my parents tv in dallas gear tough :)”
Jess is of course referring to the infamous pink #9 Cowboys jersey she was seen wearing in pics on days the Cowboys lost games.
A few minutes later, Jess then Tweeted:
“Tougher Than The Rest” YAY 9
Jess is referring to ex Romo, as he is #9 on the team.
Kudos to Jess for being so amicable with her ex. If what they say is true, and he really broke up with her the day before her birthday, then she is being incredibly mature by continuing to be friendly towards him. Despite what many (including Cowboys‘ fans) think about Jess, she has definitely chosen to take the high road in the media and stay quiet about the details of her personal life. If someone had did that to me, I don’t think I would be cheering for their sports team! But that’s just me.

I believe Jessica loved Romo with all her heart and even though Romo has been spotted with new girlfriend Candice Crawford in Dallas, I truly believe she still pines for Romo. Afterall, how can you not love cheering for this hot man!!!!! I don’t know if I was JS if I could cheer for the Boys after loving him for two years but who knows. We don’t know why or even how they broke up and prob wont ever but Romo did change Jess for the best and taught her how to love again since divorce and Mayer. Jess never liked football prior to Romo but since she still loves him watching him prob brings up good memories for her. Romo has moved on and hope Jess will move on to.
