As evidence is coming to light that Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s recent firing from the 2009 revamp of Melrose Place may have been more unexpected than the show’s producers would have liked us to believe, Ash’s sis, Jessica Simpson, fuels the fire with even more evidence to the contrary.

I call this “evidence to the contrary” because why else would Jess diss the show unless Ashlee had a valid reason to be bitter towards the producers?
Regardless, it is nice to see Jess supporting her sister. It is very refreshing to see a healthy Hollywood sibling relationship. (Cough cough Lindsay and Ali Lohan!)
