Jessica Simpson's Smelly Hair: Fact or Fiction?

Jessica Simpson Launches Her New Fragrance

For the life of me I cannot understand why Ken Paves would have blabbed that Jessica Simpson does not wash her hair very frequently. He first said this in an interview titled, “31 Things You Do Not Know About Jessica Simpson.”

The interview consisted of blurbs from Jess’ friends and confidants, who gave us a glimpse of what she’s really like. It was a cute piece. But one of the things Ken revealed is that Jessica washes her hair only two or three times a month (and sometimes less).

I cannot understand how she can do that with the amount of “stuff” she constantly does to it, but I guess she must use those hair pieces of hers quite a bit. Now I read that Jess actually sprays her hair with perfume if it starts to get greasy and gross.

A “source” close to Jess said:

“Jessica’s tresses are often greasy, but she hides it well. She wears hats or reaches for the Hairdo, the clip-on extension line she created with Ken. If her hair starts to smell, she just spritzes it with perfume from her own range!”

Come on, already! This has to be a made up story! I mean, why go to all these lengths NOT to shampoo your hair? It’s not THAT bad for you. Skip a day if you must, but a week? And if it’s greasy? Then wash it.

I think this story is a bunch of who-ee. What do you think?

Did Paves say that before or after he wasn’t allowed to do her hair for Vanity Fair? If it was after, I’d say that is sour grapes! Her hair’s never looked greasy to me. And hair is healthier if it isn’t washed daily. It strips natural oils that we need.

She looked so pretty that day, BTW. More like herself!
