Jessica Alba and hubby Cash Warren created a video for Jessica’s blog, documenting their experience in Washington DC for the recent Presidential inauguration.
The video shows Jessica and Cash hanging out in their hotel room before the ceremony and subsequent Declare Yourself event. Later, Jessica interviews people around DC, asking what they think about President Obama. The couple makes their way to a gallery for an Obama exhibit, manages to get caught up in a police escort for someone else and attends the Huffington Post Inaugural Ball where they mingled with celebs like Ben Affleck and Hayden Panettiere.
The video ends with Jessica’s perspective of the inauguration ceremony itself.
As she says in her blog:
I walked away from DC not only excited about the changes that are coming to this country, but also humbled by the task at hand. We all have work to do in order to right this ship. I believe President Obama is the most qualified person to lead this country in the right direction. He can’t, however, do it alone. He depends on every single one of us to do our share. Only then will we be able to see the results we desire. The energy in Washington last week was palpable and it’s important not to let it fade away.
