Jimmy Fallon Talks About New Late-Night Show on Ellen

Former Saturday Night Live star, Jimmy Fallon, was on Ellen yesterday and, of course, the first thing she asked him was whether he watched the inauguration of President Barack Obama.  He explained that he had a doctor’s appointment and then was at a coffee shop where it wasn’t on but that he eventually did get to hear some of it since he was able to tune in via his iPhone.

He also took a minute to take a picture with his phone so that he could post it on Twitter.  Do you have Twitter?  If you don’t, I recommend signing up.  It’s a great way to keep in touch with not only your friends but many of your favorite celebrities!  Here’s the link to Jimmy’s picture: http://twitpic.com/15cl5.

Of course, they talked about the fact that Jimmy is taking over Late Night with Conan O’Brien (Conan will be taking over for Jay Leno who is retiring).  Jimmy really had me laughing when he said that his mother wants to be a big part of the show and actually suggested he say “Sweet Dreams, Mom” at the end of every episode.  Too funny!  Watch the interview:
