Okay! So this Joaquin Phoenix mockumentary (directed by his BFF Casey Affleck) is actually getting released, and not straight to DVD like Titanic 2! Well done, sirs. But even the poster for the film (which we’re pretty much in agreement with Videogum on, cannot not be total crap) seems to be ripping off some former high-concept shocker:
Word? Bret Easton Ellis is rolling around is tastefully decorated, Whitney Houston-blaring L.A. bungalow right now. Or maybe we’re reading too much into this: Is Joaquin Phoenix the new Patrick Bateman (minus all the hooker-killings?).

Looks like someone has made the mistake of assuming Joaquin Phoenix hasn’t been off killing hookers for the last year or so.
