Joe Manganiello No Longer Just Passing Through ‘True Blood’ On Were-Business

Okay, we’d much rather have James Frain ( crazy British vamp Franklin) from True Blood be the newest “upgrade” on the show – from just a reoccurring character to a series regular. But unfortunately that’s not today’s news: Joe “Were-business in the front, party in the back” Manganiello, who plays Alcide on the show has gotten that lucky spot, meaning that we can look forward to seeing a lot more shirtless Mississippi werewolf as Sookie’s new suitor. Like she needed a new one. Can’t we just give Jason Stackhouse a girlfriend that doesn’t die within three episodes?

Well, good for him…BUT, I’d much rather they keep Franklin for the long haul. Such an amazing character. I love him…am terrified by him…he makes me laugh…he’s so adorable and creepy at the same time….he’s a twisted romantic…at times, boyishly shy…emotional and not afraid to show it…puts on great puppet shows (lol)…is a texting wizard…is thoughful toward his kidnap victims…and, a BAD ASS detective.
