OK! magazine is reporting that Jessica and Ashlee Simpson‘s father/manager, Joe Simpson, crashed Nick Lachey‘s pre-Super Bowl bash in Miami, Fla. earlier this week.
An eyewitness claims to have overheard Joe talking at Hotel 944 in Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach, exclaiming, “Nick doesn’t know I’m here!”
Apparently, OK! even informed Nick that Joe had been there, to which Nick responded:
“I haven’t talked to Joe in years. So be it.”
Sounds like an awkward situation!
BTW, doesn’t Joe look a little like a cross between Conan O’Brien and Nick Nolte in that photo?
