Joel Madden recently wrote a piece about the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation for the latest issue of Los Angeles Confidential. He talks about why he and Nicole started the foundation and what he hopes to achieve with the foundation over the next few years.
In his article, he writes:
In the two years since we launched the foundation, Nicole and I both feel we’ve gained more than we’ve given. The children we’ve met all over the world have touched us in ways money can’t buy. From neighborhoods in Los Angeles and villages in Africa to an orphanage in Russia, these children have become dear to our hearts and as important to us as our own children.
The July/August 2009 issue of LA Confidential is on newsstands now. It also includes an article by Rosario Dawson about V-Day, a non-profit dedicated to ending violence against women.
