John Mayer has been a notorious ladies’ man ever since we could say Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, or Minka Kelly. But on yesterday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show”, Mayer says that he’s taking a break from it all.
In the interview, Mayer says that he’s taking a break from relationships right now because he is “freaked out about dating.”
He said, “I’m a little freaked out right now about it, to be honest. I’m a little freaked out about dating so I’m just going to let time pass and do my thing. If whoever I date has been famous for a while, I can’t sit around and be like, ‘Please let me live my life in private with this famous person who has been around for 15 years.’ I have to figure out what are the things I asked for and signed up for in terms of cause and effect. I have a good heart, I may have gotten lost a couple of times, but so does everyone. I am going to hunker down now and 2010 is going to be a peaceful year for me no matter what I do.”
