Rolling Stone has a hoot of an interview with singer John Mayer – I am printing it after the jump, because there are some nasty little words in it, not to mention a little religous slur that you might not want to be forcefed unknowingly. John mayer is of jewish decent, but he does not practice judaism, therefore you wont see him on the list of Jewish american musicians on wikipedia. The joke was really no big deal

I think people are too sensitive…the media exaggerates things way too much. Why should John Mayer stick with music and not comedy? Let him do what he wants. He’s not quitting music and it’s really not a big deal. It’s not like musicians only have a musical life. Until he’s taking other people’s rights in any way it should not concern you. Stop being so sensitive. In no way was I offended and I love Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie……and Jesus………….and polar bears.
