I don't think this is true either. Remember the rumor of the collapsing 3 times and emailing Madonna to persuade her to adopt in Africa. Madonna said straight out, she haven't met Angie just Brad. And the fainting 3 times came from the grocery tabs also which the production studio said were all false.

INDIA:INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION
India has extremely strict adoption laws, and there is much pressure not to allow international adoption of Indian children. There are two controlling laws in India. The Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act (HAMA), 1956, allows adoptions by only Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists, and these laws also apply to children (orphans)raised as Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, and Buddists. Members of all other religious groups, and foreigners, must follow the Guardians and Wards Act (GAWA) 1890, law and are not able to actually adopt an Indian child. The law allows these potential parents to receive “guardianship”, but not “parenthood”. Once the child has left India, which now very seldom occurs, foreigners may adopt the child under their own country’s laws. Many difficulties face those who would like to adopt a child from India. Estimates show that the country has 12.4 million orphans, but only 5,000 adoptions total per year. Indo-Asian News Service, March 16, 2005

------------------------

Bottomline, I'll believe the new adoption story when I see the press release from Jolie-Pitt saying they have a new memeber of the family.

I read it came from the Globe, but then we're still in the same boat as far as trustworthiness LOL

Who knows, maybe not so believable? Did you see it in Life and Style? If it was there and in the Globe, that makes it a little more trustworthy. I don't know... What a conundrum LOL

I think this story originated from Life & Style magazine. The Daily Mail got it from them. Sorry but Life & Style is crap. They also said Brad and Angie were adopting from Namibia.

Yeah, it actually appears to be reputable, not so much gossip, but well-sourced info.
