The Jonas Brothers have each had failed romances and heartbreaking breakups. Nick and Joe recently revealed to TWIST that their new song ‘Can’t Have You‘ was written about their ex-girlfriends.
“Our song ‘Can’t Have You’ is about the heartache we felt,” Joe says. “How it can not work when there’s just something in the way.”
When Nick wrote the song he was dealing with his breakup from Miley Cyrus. “Everyone goes through that point where you just broke up with somebody and you’re still into it and it’s like, ‘I’d rather just be alone than know I can’t have you. So just tell me straight up if it’s not going to work.’”

yeah the song is about something is in the way. sure kissing another girl selena acording to a mag they kiss probably around feb. yeah i could see how hard broken he was that he move on to another girl a month after they break up. why are speaking now. no wonder miley hate you after finding out you kiss selena so fast after you guys broke up. while she crying the whole time.

Nick my moms a therapist and you sre still into miley and you are trying to get her back by dating Selena !!! It ’s hard to breakup with an ex b/c you guys had a history with each other and it’s reaaly awkard when you start to date their friend ( I’m in that situation right now ) !!!
Nick obviously liked miley a lot and i think the song cant have you fits that perfectly, but he seems happy with selena too, so if he’s happy then i’m happy. I think they are all great and the JoBros rock!
