It seems that Jonas Brothers fans will do just about anything as they wait for the brothers to take the stage!! At the Verizon Amphitheater above the stage, an endless stream of text messages from fans flashed.
“Scream your head off if you love Nick!” They screamed.
“Clap if you love JB!” They clapped.
“Scream if the Jonas Brothers are your life!” More screams.
“Quack like a duck if you think if Jonas Bros. rock!” They quacked.
Then the concert started, with Nick and Joe and Kevin rising from beneath the stage on a platform that lifted them high above the rest of the backing band before rotating down to drop them off at the front of the stage.
They opened with “That’s Just the Way We Roll” and then played “Don’t Take My Heart And Put It On A Shelf.” They then played hits from their previous albums and the upcoming A Little Bit Longer album.
A midshow segment spotlighted two numbers from “Camp Rock” – “Gotta Find You,” and “This Is Me,” on which Demi Lovato duetted.
The encore gave the crowd two last songs – the ballad “When You Look Me In the Eyes,” with Nick Jonas on the piano and vocals and wrapped up with the irresistible singalong “S.O.S.”
