If you believe in the accuracy of websites like Zabasearch, you might be a bit confused by what’s been going on. Jordin Sparks has been behind Blake Lewis for most of the season according to their stats. It’s 12:54 am MT right now and about 10 minutes ago, Zabasearch said that Jordin was maintaining a very slight lead. Now the site says this:
“Jordin Sparks took lead early in voting. Blake voters, the most dedicated ever on American Idol, narrowed gap frequently with speed voting.”
Now as of 1:02 am MT, Zabasearch has named JORDIN SPARKS as the winner.
I have to admit – I am a bit confused. I have spent the last three hours on every message board I can think of and there are some Jordin supporters but by far, Blake fans outnumber hers. There are even neutral viewers who feel that Jordin has been “pimped” (yes, that’s the word they used) by the judges to win. Others have said that they found it unfair that Jordin, the daughter of a football star, is even in the competition. Some had the same complaint last year about Katharine McPhee, a native of Hollywood and the daughter of a producer. I don’t have a real opinion on that but I want to know two things:
Do you feel that Jordin was pushed on to American audiences and do you think that contestants who have “connections” should be allowed on the show? Be nice. Be fair. Vote once. No haters. There is nothing wrong with discussing this and, yes, I am aware of the fact that Blake is not as strong a singer.

I”ve seen her in person. She’s not that good. Melinda was taken off by producers so Jordin was left with Blake. Everyone in my home state of Arizona knows she was a plant. Sure there’s some Jordin lovers over in Glendale, but thats about it. Sad that america’s votes don’t count. Jordins grandmother has had her nose in so may of these game show contests, it is’nt funny…Sad for the people, we all know Melinda really won this.

She said “he’s got guts”, she “looks up to him” and “he’s an amazing kid”. How do you transform that to her being all over him? I really don’t think if you are interested in someone romantically that you would refer to him as a “kid”.
I think Sanjaya is safe in this instance and all Sanjaya fans still have a shot…I hope it’s you Kelsey…you go get you man girl ;) If your lucky you could get both Sanjaya and Blake since Paris is umm tied up for the moment ;) You go gurl! LOL

I have to agree with e_man! If Jordin and her management play their cards right, Jordin can be huge. She can definitely be as big as Christina and Beyonce but management and fan base will determine if she will be bigger than these two. But she can definitely be up there with them. She even has potential to surpass Kelly Clarkson but let’s see which direction she goes in with her album.

jordin is hot and has one of the best voices out there she will be bigger than beyonce and christina and will be a big movie star mark my word
