Remember all the rumors about Katie Holmes’s ex-boyfriend Joshua Jackson bringing her flowers while she was at rehearsals? Well, it’s not true and the rumors kept him from going to her play at all.
In a recent interview, he was asked if he attended Katie’s play “All My Sons”. Here’s his response: "No. I was going to go and then someone published this fake story about how I went and took her roses so I was like, well, I guess that’s out."
That’s a bummer! I’m not sure who started that rumor. Whoever it was said that Katie was overjoyed and “lept” into Joshua’s arms. Oh brother.

I think Joshua is making an excuse and I don’t buy it. He’s been happily involved with Diane for years. Had they gone to the play, I’m sure it wouldn’t have been an issue. Even if it was picked up by some ridiculous gossip rag, what’s the difference? If he really wanted to see her, that shouldn’t have mattered.

I totally agree with you Charlotte. If a good friend of mine was on Broadway, I wouldn’t let any stupid rumors keep me from attending.
How do we know that Josh even said that? You know how the media always twist actor’s words around just to spice it up? Not that it matters anymore, the play is over. Also, sometimes friends drift away from each other. Josh and katie did not have the relationship they had when Dawson’s creek started. Frankly, I am glad.
Josh is finally making a name for himself so why should Katie be hogging much of the attention, again?
