Juliette Lewis thinks Brad Pitt is a wonderful father

I always find it to be a great testament to someone’s character when their ex will still say positive things about them. Break-ups don’t seem like the kind of thing that would bring about praise and adoration but not every relationship’s end has to mean bitterness.

sipaphotostwo467737-CA-INGLOURIOUS

Once upon a lifetime Brad Pitt was dating Juliette Lewis and although the relationship didn’t last, Juliette had some kind words for Brad, especially as a father.

She told People.com:

“When I run into [Brad] it’s like running into an old comrade. Good vibes. He’s grown into a fine man and father. Total super father. It’s pretty impressive. Their family unit is inspiring.”

That’s so nice to hear someone say, but especially someone who knew Brad so well!

(As an aside, isn’t that a gorgeous picture of Brad Pitt up there? Rawr.)

here’s a cute story about how Brad, Angie and the kids bewitched people as you accidentally meet them.. :D

Exclusive: Scots couple’s surprise holiday lunch with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
    Sep 5 2009 Craig Mcdonald

ONE of Scotland’s top restaurant bosses told how he went for lunch – and bumped into Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Sanjay Majhu, 40, and his wife Jiggy, 41, were staying at Rangers owner Sir David Murray’s chateau in the south of France when they had their “amazing” encounter with the A-list stars.

Sanjay, boss of the Harlequin chain which includes the Ashoka curry houses, said: “Sir David very kindly invited my wife and I to his vineyard and we stayed at his chateau, Routas. We were in the bedroom where Sir Sean Connery stays, which was a great thrill.

“We knew Brad and Angelina were renting the vineyard next door but thought no more of it.
“We went for lunch at a lovely restaurant, Chateau Vert, and Sir David’s son, Keith, said, ‘Oh, there’s Brad and Angelina.’ “I thought he was joking but they were standing right next to us – it was quite surreal.”
Dad-of-four Sanjay added: “Angelina looked stunning and they had two of their beautiful children with them. They sat at the next table and, I must say, it was the first time I wasn’t too bothered about my wife fancying another man – Brad’s very cool.”

Sanjay said he would have given the film star his business card and invited him to Glasgow – but he was “too embarrassed”.

Smiling He said: “One of our party spoke to them. My wife decided to go over and we managed to get a picture of her with Brad.
“Having a glass of wine in the south of France, with Angelina Jolie smiling away at the next table, is about as good as it gets.

“They spent the next couple of hours just walking around.”
Murray, who last week said he was stepping down as Rangers chairman, paid £5.5million for Chateau Routas in Provence.

Since someone mentioned Meryl Streep I want to share you about her.
Streep privately visits orphanage whenever she came to Japan. I think you know she supports several charity organizations in US ( one of them is Haiti’s children’s charity which Angie also supports. They once did it together).
Though she is the most respected and successful actress in HW she is a family oriented person with 4 children. Motherhood added softness and layers to her sharp genius talent.

Just read the old Rolling Stone interview and found it really great. It looks like Brad has always been interested in travelling. It´s not just something that Angie has made him to love. It´s obvious that Brad loves the family´s nomadic life style and wants their children to grow up seeing different cultures and learning to appreciate other people and countries. The whole family seems to love especially France and I don´t wonder at all whhy. There they can be like any other family and go wherever they want being recognized all the time.

    luise,
Angie, Meryl, and Lindsay were photographed in 2005 at a fundraising in the Hamptons where they were all have wearing white. So, I’m sure Meryl and Angie have met.

Where’s your head at Angelina Jolie?

    Friday September 04 2009

She rules in action movies. She rules in ‘proper’ ones. She’s trying to make the world a nicer place. But did you know about Jolie Airways, or the 0898 cartoon?

    34 AND COUNTING

The artist formerly known as Angelina Jolie Voight was born on June 4, 1975 (her last name was legally lopped off in September 2002). Can you guess which tight-trousered, tousled-hair English comedian and sexual athlete was born on that very day too? Yes, you can. And, in all likelihood, no he hasn’t.

    LOVE SCENE, TAKE 3

Our girl finds romance on film sets: she met first husband Jonny Lee-Miller on Hackers (1995); spouse number two Billy Bob Thornton on Pushing Tin (1999); and current bedfellow Brad Pitt on Mr & Mrs Smith (2005). Headline writers approve, because Brangelina is so much catchier than Joliemiller or Thorngelina.

    PROMO SEXUAL

Like Liv Tyler and Courtney Cox before her, Jolie starred in music videos. She was a gamine stripper for The Rolling Stones, sat behind the wheel of a convertible for The Lemonheads and, in Rock N Roll Dreams Come Through, found Meatloaf trapped in a junked truck cab, and then it exploded.

    GETTING REJIGGY WITH IT

AJ likes an adaptation. So far, she has appeared in films based on other films (Gone In 60 Seconds), novels (eg The Bone Collector), memoirs (eg Girl Interruped, for which she won an Oscar), a magazine article (Pushing Tin), a comic book (Wanted), a video game (Tomb Raider) and an epic poem (Beowulf)..

    MAMA MORE

Famous for her and Pitt’s brood – three adopted children, three of their own – Jolie has also been a movie mum to Colin Farrell, in Alexander, and Ray Winstone, in Beowulf. She’s almost a year older than Farrell, and about 18 years younger than Winstone. Paging Dr Freud…

    FLY GIRL

Having qualified as a pilot in 2005, Jolie then bought a Cirrus SR22, a single-engine four-seater that comes with a rocket-powered parachute as standard. “It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” she said of learning to fly. Harder than that: telling three of her kids they have to take the bus.

    THE MIGHTY BOUCHE

In July this year, noted feminist author Naomi Klein suggested that Jolie was the woman women want to be, and among the reasons why, singled out her “crazy pillowy lips”. Academics also note with interest her Best Kiss nominations at the 2005 and 2008 MTV Movie Awards.

    MADAM AMBASSADOR

Where that mouth is, money follows. Jolie can earn £9m a film, but she and Brad donate millions to charity. The £8.5m they got from People Magazine for baby pics last year will, they say, be given away, most likely to help refugees, whose cause Jolie champions hands-on with regular work on behalf of the UN Refugee Agency.

    SPEAK AND SPELLBIND

Other stars may have the looks, the money, the awards, the respect and, as Wanted showed, the ability to shoot around corners, but do they have That Voice? The sultriest example of her chocolate-smooth diction came in animated flick, Shark Tale. “It’s my phone sex voice,” she said. In that voice.

    PLAYING CONDIMENTS

Next up for Forbes’ magazine’s newly anointed most powerful celebrity: Salt, in which she plays a CIA operative accused of being a double agent. The role was to be played by Tom Cruise, but when he passed, it was rewritten for Ange after she read and liked the script. *That* is star power in action.

Tim Gunn must really like AJ. He has praised her so many times before.
Now, in his latest interview, he mentioned AJ again.

    Who does have perfect style?

“Angelina Jolie always gets it right,” TIM GUNN said.

Brad and Angie topped the Vanity Fair’s Establishment List! :D yay!

according to Radar online – Vanity Fair’s annual “New Establishment” list, highlighting the most influential people in society and pop culture was released Friday, with some of RadarOnline.com’s favorites garnering coveted spots on it.

Humanitarian A-listers Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took the 8th spot–the only actors (or global superstars for that matter) to qualify in the top ten alongside Wall Street tycoons and politicians.

Lots of star power fueled the 30s, as Bono and Tom Hanks were the 34th and 35th sports respectively. The 38th and 39th spots went to multimedia queen Oprah Winfrey and the very influential George Clooney.

The 40s were dotted with coast-to-coast leading men, as East Coast powerhouse Robert DeNiro came in 47th, while California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was 49th.

yeah! hooray for our fave couple!
    God Bless you all!

Am not sure what you are saying Joann.

You think Brad and Angie were seeing or interested in each other back then?? That premiere was 2001/2. Angelina and BBT were newlyweds (Angelina Jolie (5 May 2000 – 27 May 2003) (divorced)), just like Brad and Jen (2000-2004-divorced 2005).

Am not attacking you, I just don’t understand your question.

  18. By Joann

Sunny, thanks for tracking down the link to that wonderful old Rolling Stone interview of Brad. Speaking of the past & premiers and such, does anybody out there remember a photo of Brad and Angie sitting on opposite sides of Billy Bob Thornton at the premier of one of BBT’s films? As I recall, BBT & AJ were newlyweds & Brad snuck into the premier after the film had begun. At the time I was disappointed because I interpreted Brad & Angie’s expressions as indicating they didn’t like each other. Apparently I misread the photo, and I’d like to see it again to figure out how I could have been so wrong.

Kati, I saw it twice. The second time was much better.

Forget to mention one thing. Just saw Inglourious Basterds and LOVED it! There wasn´t nearly that much violence as there normally tends to be in QT´s movies but still enough. It was actually very funny movie. Brad´s character Aldo Raine was really funny with that Southern accent and it really made me laugh. Most definitely gonna see it again! Brad told recently in People Magazine that Mad had tried to imitate that accent his dad has in this movie. It must have made the rest of the family laugh – even the twins! God bless the JPs!
