Check this out! SMALLVILLE apparently purchased some buildings in Vancouver to expand their Burnaby studio space, at least that’s the Tweet from YVRFilm, which posts location shoots around the Vancouver area.
This is an unusual move for a series that is supposedly in it’s last season. Of course nothing has been official yet – either way for a finale or an extension – but Smallville executive Kelly Sounders makes no secret that she wants another season. Could there be something brewing in the producer’s room for one more (or two) year of SMALLVILLE?
According to BuddyTV’s Trish Neale, a SMALLVILLE spin-off is also being considered. But I’d rather have a season 10! Tom Welling has become such an icon on TV, and the entire cast chemistry is amazing (with an incredible villain in Callum Blue) that it’s really difficult to say goodbye to something this big. Besides, there is still so much to tell about Clark Kent’s evolution into Superman.
A season 10 would be simply magic.

Fans have been watching Smallville for nine years and we have fallen in love with the story and the characters.
Tom welling has an amazing ability to show strength, pathos, love and understanding.
We want to see his character develop so that he too can love Lois , whilst remembering his first love, LANA.
