Kanye West spoke to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM this morning and gave his input about what he thinks of Rihanna being hospitalized after an alleged assaulted by Chris Brown. He and Rihanna toured together on Kanye’s hit “Glow in the Dark” tour.
He says, “We really vibed out on a lot of creative ideas. I really felt and feel that Rihanna is so important to our culture and pop music. For her taste level at her age, her song level, her style she has the potential to be the greatest artist of all time.”
He discusses the alleged assault saying, “In that sense I feel like that’s my baby sis and I would do anything to help her….I was completely devastated by the concept that I heard.”
Apparently, Kanye found out about this right before his performance of “American Boy” with Estelle at the Grammys. “I was doing American boy, I was completely devastated doing the performance.”
He continues, “I don’t want to speak more into specifics, with that situation but all I am going to say is that it’s just so devastating …I feel like just as a person…That should never happen, it should never come to that place.”

agreed – this whole thing is devastating and totally wrong for it to come to this level – but rihanna as the greatest artist of all time…gimme a break..i know he’s just tryin 2 be nice cause that statement is devastating in itself…

i understand what you are talking about kayne. when i first heard about it which was after the awards i was thinking to myself chris brown would never do that to any body but when i saw her face it was ridiculous i WAS a HUGE fan of Chris’s and still am but i just dont Appreciate chris putting his hands on a FEMALE in the first place….Chris is supposed to be a role model to the little kids…well i hope that Rihanna is okay and i hope that Chris will get through this

this is ridiculous!! young girls or chris brown faens are always going to take up for him sooo let them say whatever it is about rihanna they…. dont like lol but i love rihanna and chris brown soo i would never take sides in a situation like this i have no clue about what happened…. No ONE does except for them… and no one knows rihanna personally to talk about her like that… gurls hate on beyonce, rihanna, ciara, and some other females out of jealousy its life but doesnt mean you have to put your negative thoughts all over the internet because you want people to agree with you…. all those famous singers worked hard to get where they are and why would they worried about the 200 females who didnt like them out of3 billion or even more of the females that does love them… females can be soooo jelous sometimes…. but i wish rihanna and chris the best of luck..tahnks

I DON’T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH KAYE BUT I THINK WAS FOR SURE BEATEN BY CHRIS BROWN AND THAT,S BEING STUPID TO BEAT UP A WOMAN . WHY DID KANYE EMBARASS TAYLOR ON THE AWARDS?
