WOW!!! American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi, is going to be a star in the 
new Theory of a Deadman video. I know that not all of you may be familiar with the Canadian group (they are based out of Vancouver and were discovered/sound like fellow Canadian rockers Nickelback). It’s super exciting to me because I am not only a fan but I’ve had the occasion to meet (and party) with the members of the group at last year’s Juno Awards and they were incredible!

Vancouver rockers Theory Of A Deadman will be filming a video for their hit single “Not Meant To Be” starring Grammy nominated songwriter and American Idol superstar Kara DioGuardi in the lead role. DioGuardi co-wrote the song with the band’s frontman Tyler Connolly.
Connolly had this to say about working with DioGuardi, “Amazing. I went over to her place, drank some wine and we wrote ‘Not Meant To Be’ in 5 minutes. Our writing styles fit together so perfectly it was almost like it was ‘meant to be.’”
DioGuardi adds, “The best part about my job is that you never know who you are going to meet, and who’s going to inspire you. Although I’d never worked with Tyler, when he started singing the song, I knew we were onto something special. I am thrilled he asked me to be a part of the video.”

I saw the video yesterday morning, early, so, I thought I was seeing things, when I saw Kara in the video. I asked my kid, “is that Kara from Idol”, she said, “yeah, I think it is, geez, they must be desperate”….hmmm, the mind of a 14 year old, right???
One other comment; they are very well known. Folks, if Nikki Sixx will take a chance on them and put them in the CrueFest2 tour, then they must be smokin hot!!!
