On January 6, 2010 Katharine McPhee dropped by Live With Regis and Kelly to promote her new album “Unbroken”. After chatting it up with Regis and Kelly, Katharine hit the stage with “Had It All”.
I think she did such a great job and she sounded wonderful. I love watching Regis and Kelly (mostly for Kelly Ripa, one of my favorite people on television) but that being said I find that a lot of times people sound terrible when they perform on the show because the mix just isn’t very good. Maybe it sounds better when you’re there live, but a lot of people – people who are normally great live – sound mediocre. However, Katharine sounded fantastic.
I’m still not feeling her new look though. Regis said she has the Marilyn Monroe thing going on, and she’s certainly still very pretty with the blond hair, but I just think she looks better with her brown hair.

Hey, thanks for the video. Katharine is one of the few who actually sounds VERY good live! A person can tell that she never lip syncs because she changes the song around – a performance for Katharine is never the same thing twice!
