Katherine Heigl is on the cover of UK Marie Claire for the August 2009 issue and within the magazine’s pages you can find an interview wherein the actress discusses some details about her personal life. If you’ve ever wanted to know more about the actress and her life with husband Josh Kelley, you’ll definitely want to pick up a copy of this magazine.
Some things revealed in the article include the fact that Josh is messy while Katherine likes things neat. And also that while her husband isn’t a huge fan of Heigl’s sex scenes on camera, she refuses to let her job suffer as a result.
“It’s not his favorite part of the profession,” said Heigl of her sex scenes. “But I told him, ‘It’s my job, and if I feel uncomfortable doing my job, and it suffers because of it, I’ll kill you.”
In terms of her movie career, Heigl reveals that she’s not ready to make the leap to more “serious” or Oscar-worthy films. She says that Grey’s Anatomy has given her a lot of “heavy stuff” and that she doesn’t “want to do that 24/7.” Her mother went through breast cancer and this past season of Grey’s has brought a lot of that back for the actress.
