For those of you wondering what Katherine Heigl is up to at the moment, here’s some photos taken of the actress as she relaxed with her mom and some friends in Villefranche-sur-Mer in beautiful la France a few days ago.
Heigl is currently filming the movie Five Killers starring Ashton Kutcher. I mentioned the film back in February alongside news that her being cast in this was doing nothing to quell rumors about her departure from Grey’s Anatomy. Doesn’t look like the film is conflicting with anything, though.
For those unfamiliar, Five Killers is a thriller about a vacationing couple that suspect their neighbors of trying to kill them.
Heigl looks pretty happy, beautiful and carefree in these photos. It’s always nice to see!

It’s odd to me that she’s in France when Shonda said last night on her Twitter page that they were filming the 2nd to last ep for the season!
Katherine got back from France yesterday according to her web site. She has a two week break before filming resumes on her movie they said..enough time for Grey’s filming I guess? Also the people in the pics are from the movie and I think one is the director Robert Luketic. He has a Twitter and has been gushing about her.
