For those of you itching for a little bit more of Katherine Heigl, here’s a reminder that she’s starring in the romantic comedy The Ugly Truth alongside Gerard Butler. The film premieres in theaters everywhere on July 24, so the wait is almost over!
In the film, Heigl plays Abby Richter a “romantically challenged” morning show producer who gets teamed up with Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler), a “hardcore TV personality who promises to spill the ugly truth on what makes men and women tick.”
Sounds like a light, funny movie and something fun to catch on a Friday night date. Don’t confuse this with Five Killers in which she stars alongside Ashton Kutcher. Will let you know when that one’s ready to premiere as well.

The Ugly Truth is one of my all time favorite movies. It’s an adult raunchy, funny comedy. It’s rated R probably for language. I haven’t laughed so hard because of a movie in years! The whole cast is great. If you’re offended easily then I wouldn’t recommend this movie. Since I’m not, I thoroughly enjoyed it and have seen it innumerable times.
