According to Kristin from E! Online, who ran into Katherine Heigl at the Peter Alexander boutique opening, the actress is happy with these season’s storylines. She (and by ’she’ I mean Kristin) also puts to rest any pesky rumors that Izzie might be killed off at the end of the season. Heigl told Kristin:
“There’s nothing I can reveal, but it’s been awesome. It’s been really exciting for me and really, really fun, satisfying work. I love Justin [Chambers]! How can you not love Justin? Sorry. He is just such a doll. I mean it’s weird, I’ve been working with all of these people for five years. They’re like my family. I mean, I see them actually more than my own family! We have so much fun together.”
Also it sounds like Izzie and Alex will be heating up the bedroom one of these days. So all of you Izzie/Alex ’shippers can bounce happily and excitedly in your chairs.

Meanwhile, Kristin has a bit more on the whole Meredith/Sadie did-they-or-didn’t-they story. And according to Kristin, they did. I’m not sure what they did exactly, but they did it. She also mentions that this storyline is pretty much the same one that was rumored to be for Cristina quite a while ago but that got trashed after it got leaked.

Izzie/Alex fan?? YES, I love these two and think they are great.. Two people whom always seem or appear to get dumped on but keep trying; one almost always looking/finding to much good in everything and one never looking or giving anyone a chance… I think these two are the best at balancing the other out. Izzie always gives and gives, from giving up her daughter to giving her time to each patient; all for the betterment of someone else. Alex always has it taken away regardless of what he does, from his mom to Eva; he just can’t seem to get it right… I myself think Alex is has a hard skin and soft center, while Izzie is the opposite and both far and between show their other side to anyone else as much as they do to each-other… I LVE THESE TWO AND HOPE THEY STAY THE ENTIRE RUNNING OF THIS SHOW!!!
