I mentioned a while back that Katherine Heigl was starting a film production company alongside her manager/mother and were hiring writers. Looks like they’ve found some! The company’s first film, an action-comedy entitled Drawn Together, has been officially announced!
Not a lot of details have been released yet. But Fox 2000 is the studio behind the project and they’ve stated that the film will revolve around “an electronics designer who meets the woman of his dreams, only to find out that she’s not who she seems to be.”
Katherine Heigl and Nancy Heigl will be producing the film, along with Spyglass Entertainment’s Roger Birnbaum, Gary Barber and Jonathan Glickman.
Writers Keith Merryman and David A. Newman (who are developing a CW series called How-To Girl based on the film How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days) will be penning the film.
Looking forward for more details on this one.
