Our beloved Izzie is keeping busy outside of Seattle Grace. Or, at least the actress who plays her is. Katherine Heigl has signed up to star in the upcoming comedy, The Ugly Truth. The film is brought to us by the same writer-director team from Legally Blonde, so if you’re a fan of that one, odds are, you’ll enjoy this one. And plus, Katherine Heigl is in it! What’s not to love?
Story centers on a romantically challenged morning show producer (Heigl) who is reluctantly embroiled in a series of outrageous tests by her chauvinistic correspondent to prove his theories on relationships and help her find love. His clever ploys, however, lead to an unexpected result.
Sounds promising.
Filming starts in April so we’ve got a bit yet before we go stand in line at the movie theater.
